Celebrate Spring with the 2024 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Photo Contest!
We are thrilled to announce the 2024 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Photo Contest, aimed at capturing the essence of our beautiful Skagit Valley while fostering community engagement. Presented in partnership with North Coast Credit Union, the contest invites photographers of all levels to showcase their creativity and skill through captivating imagery.
Theme: “Colors of Spring: Capturing the Essence of Skagit Valley Tulips”
The theme of the contest is “Colors of Spring,” inviting participants to capture the vibrant hues and enchanting landscapes of the Skagit Valley tulips. Whether it’s up-close shots of tulips, panoramic views of tulip fields, or heartwarming moments of families or children enjoying the tulips, we encourage participants to tap into their creativity and share with us. Three specific categories are:
- Up-close tulips
- Fields of tulips
- Children/Families with tulips
Contest Guidelines
Submission Period: April 1st – April 30th, 2024. All photos must be taken during this period.
How to Enter:
- Follow @SkagitValleyTulipFestival on Instagram and Facebook.
- Share your best photo(s) of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival on your Instagram and/or Facebook profile.
- Tag @NorthCoastCU and @SkagitValleyTulipFestival in the photo.
- Use the hashtag #SVTFContest24 in the caption.
- Multiple entries are allowed.
Eligibility: Open to residents of the United States, aged 18 and above.
Judging Criteria: Originality, creativity, composition, adherence to the theme & categories, and overall visual impact.
Winners:
- Finalists: 6 finalists will be chosen, 2 from each category, and featured on the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
- Grand Prize Winner: One grand prize winner will receive a signed 2024 Festival poster and be featured on both North Coast Credit Union and Skagit Valley Tulip Festival’s social media channels and the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival website.
Rights: By entering the contest, participants grant Skagit Valley Tulip Festival the right to share their photos on social media channels and marketing materials with appropriate credit.
Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced on Friday, May 10th, 2024, via Instagram and Facebook.

Judging
The judging and selection process will be overseen by the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
