Hello Families and Students!
The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival will be hosting their annual Ambassador Event presented by Key Bank on Thursday, February 15, at 5:30 p.m. at Maple Hall in La Conner. We invite all interested Skagit County 4th and 5th graders to join and audition!
Each year, we select two individuals from Skagit County for the special honor of representing this Washington Tulip Festival, sharing their enthusiasm for our community, our mission and the various festival events with others. The Ambassadors get the unique opportunity to learn through experiences such as visiting the various tulip farms, participating in our annual Tulip Parade, being interviewed on a radio show, meeting the Governor in Olympia, and more.
The downloadable packet below provides more details, as well as the candidate form. If you’re interested, please download the candidate form and either email it to info@tulipfestival.org or mail it to our office by February 5th. Walk-in candidates also welcome the day-of.
