Our 2020 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Poster wins Gold Pinnacle
The Gold Pinnacle Award was recently given to our 2020 poster by the International Festivals and Events Association at its annual convention. There are many different award categories AND each category has different divisions depending on the budget for the particular festival or event. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival competes at the $100,000 to $750,000 category which brought in entries from across the country and around the world.
In addition, because of COVID, each festival and event could enter any or all of their commemorative posters from 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Winning tradition
Our awards wall at the festival headquarters in downtown Mount Vernon is full of honors over the years, including organizational awards, awards for merchandise, and website awards and Silver and Bronze Pinnacle awards. We build our “brand” each year around the featured artwork from a wide variety of artists. We work hard to choose artists whose featured piece reflects the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. And, we are proud of the many other Gold Pinnacle award winning posters:
