2026 Annual Ambassador Event – Calling Local 4th & 5th Graders

Hello students & families of Skagit County!

Do you know a student who loves meeting new people, trying new experiences, and representing their community? We’re excited to invite the 4th and 5th grade students from Skagit County to audition for the 2026 Tulip Ambassador Program!

Join us for the Tulip Ambassador Event, presented by HF Sinclair Puget Sound Refinery, on

  • Thursday, February 12th
  • Check-in begins at 5:15PM, audition will begin at 5:30 PM
  • Maple Hall in La Conner

Each year, two students are selected to serve as the official Tulip Ambassadors for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival — a fun, confidence-building role that offers unforgettable experiences and meaningful community involvement.

What does a Tulip Ambassador get to do?

Ambassadors enjoy a truly one-of-a-kind spring season, including:

  • Special private tours of all four tulip farms

  • Riding in the Annual Tulip Festival Parade

  • Appearing on a local radio show or two

  • Meeting Governor Ferguson in Olympia

  • And so much more!

How to apply

To get started, download the Ambassador packet. It includes everything you need.

Completed forms are due by February 6.
