Annual Tulip Parade

Presented by Savi, powered by Harborstone Credit Union

The Annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Parade has been a beloved tradition in La Conner for decades. As one of the festival’s signature events, the parade offers a joyful, locally rooted showcase of community and creative spirit.

Since its earliest years, the parade has embodied La Conner’s small-town charm, with neighbors, families, and local groups coming together to celebrate spring in Skagit County.

Tips for a Smooth and Enjoyable Day in La Conner

We want your Annual Tulip Parade experience to be fun, easy, and accessible—whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town. Here’s what you need to know before parade day:

  • Where to watch. The parade takes place along First Street in downtown La Conner, where you’ll find great viewing all along the route. Arrive early to claim your spot, and feel free to bring chairs, strollers, or blankets to make yourself comfortable.
  • The parade takes place rain or shine, so check the forecast, dress in layers, and be prepared for Pacific Northwest weather.
  • When it comes to parking, we encourage street parking where available, or you can use the public lot just north of the La Conner Marina RV Resort, where a shuttle runs directly to the parade route.
  • Accessibility. Sidewalks and curb ramps are available at key points along the route.
  • Public restrooms are located at 618 1st Street and 302 Morris Street for your convenience.
  • For safety, please dial 911 in the event of an emergency.

After the parade, extend your day by exploring La Conner’s waterfront shops, art galleries, and local restaurants, or discover more of our beloved Skagit Valley attractions. Our FAQ offers more answers about the tulip festival and the region.
