DESCRIPTION:Anacortes Earth Day 2026 is a two-day celebration of art\, environment\, and community in the heart of downtown Anacortes. Designed for all ages\, the event blends large-scale public art\, participatory parades\, and hands-on environmental learning in a welcoming\, family-friendly atmosphere. \nThe weekend opens Friday night with the Luminary Parade\, a dazzling nighttime procession of illuminated sculptures. Saturday features an Environmental Fair\, live music\, a Sustainable Fashion Show\, and the beloved Procession of the Species\, where community-made costumes celebrate the plants and animals of the Pacific Northwest. \nThe event is organized by the Anacortes Arts Foundation and is free and open to the public. Activities take place outdoors; attendees should dress for the weather and expect walking throughout downtown. \n\nFriday\, April 24th: 8:00 PM\nSaturday\, April 25th: 4:00–6:00 PM
