2020 Tulip Ambassadors to be chosen February 12

4th and 5th grade boys and girls in Skagit County are eligible to try out to be our 2020 KeyBank Tulip Ambassadors. The event will take place Feb. 12 at Maple Hall in La Conner, WA, beginning at 5 pm. One boy and one girl will be chosen to represent the festival by a panel of 5 judges.

Tulip Festival’s Economic Impact on Skagit Valley

In order to assess the economic impact the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival has on the businesses in Skagit County, festival officials contracted with the International Festival and Events Association to conduct a study of the 2012 festival. The results indicate a healthy impact brought on by the thousands of visitors in the month of April.
