Starting April 1, festival events and activities will begin as scheduled. Be sure to check our art shows opening the first week: Art in the School house at Christianson’s Nursery, Art in a Pickle Barn at Schuh Farms, and Sauk Mount Pottery, all opening on April 1. The Art Bash (Carnation Building in downtown Mount Vernon) and Rexville Grange Art Show (at the Rexville Grange) both begin later on in the week, on April 6 and 5 respectively.
The Kiwanis Salmon Barbecue opening fo rbusiness at 11 am on April 6 and runs through April 28 at Hillcrest Park. If salmon isn’t to your taste, come and enjoy the Chili/Chowder Cookoff at Farmstrong Brewery in Mount Vernon on April 6.
Skagit Runners are hosting their annual Tulip Run on April 6 AND you can enjoy English Tea at Willowbrook Manor every weekend of the festival.
