2010 Poster Unveiling set for Nov 5

Whidbey Island Bank distributing additional invites

Tulip fans will see their first glimpse of the 2010 festival poster by Bart Rulon on Nov. 5 at Skagit Valley Gardens on Peter Johnson Rd in Mount Vernon.

Festival sponsors and invited guests will receive invitations to the event which begins at 5:30 pm. Additional invitations to the event will be available at Skagit County branches of Whidbey Island Bank.

In addition to the festival poster, guests will see the official products of the festival, including apparel items, notecards and magnets and Warren Jewelers new tulip jewelry. Guests will also be treated to samples of the official beer by Anacortes Brewery and wine by Pasek Cellars.

MacGregor/Yellowbook will reveal the new 2010 phone directory cover for Skagit Valley. Whidbey Coffee and Cascade Candy will also have samples of their official ware.

The evening will also feature the Taste of Skagit where guests will be treated to the culinary specialties of the Swinomish Casino catering staff.
