Daffodils beautiful; lots to see and do during festival By: Nancy Jankelson
Journey up Highway 20 and explore Look and around and enjoy the beautiful fields of daffodils -- check out the display gardens to see if there are any early tulips peeking out -- and then explore the area around Highway 20. This scenic drive heads east to Sedro Woolley where you can stop and visit CountryTime Alpacas just off SR9. This family farm has 40+ alpacas including babies and you can see them up close on a self-guided educational tour and learn more about alpacas and the fiber produced. Then go by ONeils Arts Metal work and Hand Blown Glass, located on HWY 20, has beautiful hand blown art glass, vases, fluted bowls, platters, figures and much more that are all hand crafted. They are at 1386 Moore St. in Sedro-Woolley. Your next stop would be Eagle Haven Winery and Vineyard where 5 grape wines and 4 fruit wines are sure to delight! For lunch, take a break at Annies Pizza Station in Concrete, and look along the river for the eagles. If you want a little more wine sampling stop at Challenger Ridge Vineyard and Cellars on your way to Annie's Pizza. Round off your day with dinner at Bobs Burgers and Brew just off the I-5 Cook Road exit.
