Coverage at 1340 am will feature studio interviews and a live broadcast of April 11 Tulip Parade

Anacortes Radio station AM 1340 The Whale is the spot to set on your dial for up-to-date tulip information. Every Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 8:45, festival staffers will be live on-air bringing people the inside scoop on festival events and activities.

During the festival, The Whale will provide a live broadcast of the Tulip Parade in LaConner on April 11, featuring the antics of the Nile Shrine organization parade entries. Rumor has it that the Schuh Farm train is also set to make an appearance as well as the 2009 Tulip Ambassadors.
