Quacky Studios to provide sound and lighting at Poster Unveiling By: Cindy Verge
Nov. 6 Unveling Party at Skagit Valley Gardens Camano Island's Quacky Studios has been selected once again this year to provide sound and lighting services for the 2009 Tulip Poster Unveiling on Nov. 6, sponsored by Whidbey Island Bank. Providing high-quality remote sound and lighting, owner Mark Dodge prides himself on keeping a low profile and creating just the right mood in support of art-oriented events such as the Tulip Poster unveiling. "Mark always does a superb job for us: on-time, on-budget and just what we need for the occasion," Cindy Verge, executive director of the festival noted. In addition to providing event services, Mark is also a musician, recordist, and fine art photographer. His wife Vicki is a multimedia artist. Together they offer a variety of creative products and services, including award-winning fine art photographs, jewelry, and ceramics; live music, wearable art, oil paintings, and original recordings by local musicians on the Big Quack Records label.
