Poster Artist Gerry Friberg used watercolor and gouache painting techniques featuring one of her favorite models – her cat Oliver. The purple tipped tulips in the poster are the "Skagit Valley” tulip variety. The Ferndale artist is a Washington state native. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in art education from Western Washington University.
