Tulip Town will be open and in full operation throughout 2018 Festival

January 03 2018

Tulip Town will be open and ready for festival visitors throughout the 2018 festival, which runs April 1-30. Earlier this month it was announced that Tulip Town is for sale as owners Tom and Jeannette DeGoede are ready to retire. They WILL be open throughout the 2018 festival.

RoozenGaarde will also have its 5-acre garden ready to greet visitors—they hand-planted 1/2 million bulbs in creative designs ready for people to enjoy. In addition, RoozenGaarde/Washington Bulb Company has 350 acres of tulips in the ground, all getting ready to spring forth for the April Festival.

Of course, as tulip fans know, accompanying the spectacular blooms are a myriad of events and activities—there is truly something for everyone! A quilt show, art shows, the US Bank Parade, a fairy party, the Tulip Pedal, The Tulip Run, alpacas, PACCAR open house, the street fair and the Kiwanis Salmon Barbecue are are planned and ready to go!

Also open to the public are our Key Bank Tulip Ambassador event in February and our gala opening (sponsored by Peoples Bank and Judd & Black Appliance) on March 29.
